We had a lovely time exploring Gettysburg, especially at the Shriver House Museum, where we learned fascinating stories from the Civil War. The staff at our hotel were welcoming and it was very convenient being able to stay with our non-service dog.
My children wished for a pool to enjoy during our stay. It would be great if they could reinstate those amenities for families.

Had a fantastic time with friends exploring the Shriver House Museum and going on a haunting battlefield tour. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. If you plan to stay, bring your own shampoo and consider that breakfast is basic. Still, the location is convenient and lets you dive into history easily.
The pool was freezing during our visit, making it tough for a swim. It could use some heating for a more comfortable experience.
